Subject:Billing for Contract jobs From:Kalpana Thakar <kalpana_tc -at- YAHOO -dot- COM> Date:Sun, 22 Aug 1999 21:15:54 -0700
Hi,
Just wanted some information from you folks.
In a contract job, under what activity heads( eg, formatting, proof
reading , indexing etc.) do you bill the employer? Suppose you charge
50$ per hour and spent about 150 hours to complete one particular
assignment.... do you simply tell your employer that you put 150hrs
into the assigment or do you mention the various activity heads and the
hours spent in each activity, so that the employer gets to know exactly
the amount of time you spent on each activity?
Regards,
Kalpana.
