Job Description: Design, write and maintain software documentation
and other performance support materials. Work with project team to
determine documentation requirements and schedules. Work with illustrators,
translators and printing vendors.
Required Skills: A 4 year degree in a writing-related program or in
software engineering. 3 years minimum experience writing for an audience
of software engineers. Ability to write in a task oreinted manner. A high
comfort level in working closely with software engineers. Tools experience:
FrameMaker, Corel Draw, Robohelp (or other help authoring tool) and HTML
editors
Desired Skills: A background in instructional design a plus.
Experience designing single source materials. Software development
methodology experience. Task analysis skills.
