Something else to consider - the suggested $5 (or even up to $20) annual
subscription is far less than the periodical subscriptions many people
receive from their employers - get your company to pay for it!

I know that many others are self-employed, but the subscription could be
written off as a legitimate business expense when you send your pound of
flesh to the IRS.

It's been mentioned that there are a number of other free lists - I know, I
subscribe to some of them - but this one has far more subscribers, far more
traffic, with (hopefully) a far greater chance of getting the help you need
when you need it most.

And, finally, why do people subscribe to this list?

- To get urgent help when they're rapidly heading towards deadline hell (if
the advice offered saves you half an hour a year, it's paid for itself),
- To ask others' opinions on expensive tools before buying them (the
Frame/Robo/etc debates),
- To check the job postings (even though I'm in the UK...).

...surely worth the cost of a pizza a year... ;)
