What does it mean to provide documentation as an Application ice Provider?
Subject:What does it mean to provide documentation as an Application ice Provider? From:Kate O'Neill <kateo -at- CINEBASE -dot- COM> Date:Tue, 3 Aug 1999 13:47:11 -0700
Does anyone on this list create or manage
documentation for a company that is acting as
an Application Service Provider? What are the
challenges associated with that combination?
Is documentation handled as a sub-contracted
service?
I'm particularly interested in hearing
from anyone whose company shifted from a
traditional shrinkwrapped software model to
an ASP model (or just added the ASP model
to its bag of tricks), and how that affected
documentation development and process.
Thanks in advance.
