* Platform training on e-commerce software products
* Potential for up to %25 travel - almost always completed within a
week, except international which requires weekend travel
* Development of instructor-led courses for e-commerce software
products - if the candidate has good writing skills
* Probably participation in the development of the training business
(within the context of the software business) - if the candidate is
interested. Examples of potential tasks in this area: creation of a
web-based course catalog, creation of an on-line class schedule, and
selection and implementation of a registration system.
* Possibly CBT development and updates - if the candidate has authorware or
other related skills
We need someone who can handle the more technical subjects that we teach.
So far, these are handled by development staff but that won't continue
indefinitely. Specifically, we are seeking someone who has some of the
following: Exp. with SQL, COM, the Object model, Windows Application
architecture, ASP, some VB, min. 2 years exp. as a platform trainer for
software products, tolerance for 25% travel, good writing skills, and
excellent presentation skills.
