Both Sean Brierly (Subject: OT: Acrobat to ASCII or RTF)
and Mary Choy (Subject: PDF to Frame or Word?) asked
whether it is possible to convert Acrobat (PDF) files to
some editable form.
As Art Campbell noted, for smallish amounts of content
you can simply select and the copy & paste. As Terry
Barron noted, if you have the Acrobat Exchange tool
you can copy the whole PDF file to the Clipboard and
paste it into an empty document in some other application.
Another possible solution is the "pstotext" utility which is
included in the GSview software distribution that is available on
the GhostView website ( http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/ ).
This utility converts PostScript or PDF files to plain ASCII.
