Five+ years experience, knowledge of Visual Basic, C++ (or other object-oriented languages), RoboHelp, and FrameMaker are required. A Bachelors degree is preferred, although an Associates degree in technical writing or English (or experience) is acceptable. Salary: 50-70K

Technical Writer/Manager for Irvine Spectrum telecommunications firm. This position requires five to ten years experience including telecommunications, computer hardware, and project management and requires knowledge of HTML and FrameMaker. Salary: 60K

Mid-to-Sr level Technical Writer for Newport Beach mortgage lending firm. Five+ years experience, knowledge of MS Word, Access, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat are required. Salary: 45-50K

Proofreaders (1-2) for Whittier civil engineering firm. These positions require two+ years of hardcopy editing experience and knowledge of standard editing marks. Salary: BOE

Editor for Whittier civil engineering firm. Five+ years experience and recent Interleaf experience required. Salary: BOE
