This question (and maybe my response) is going to
generate alot of discussion. Here's MY opinion on the
matter.

If you are using a hyperlink to the site containing
the article, just create the link and let them read
the article from its home page. No permission is
required to link to something already on the net,
UNLESS it is a subscriber site and you are somehow
bypassing the password, maybe by imbedding the
password in the URL.

If you want to copy the article into your site and
detach it from its original location, then I would
contact the author or publisher and get permission for
each one, unless the article came from a public site,
such as a government site.
