I went searching for this page. The URL that describes the problem and
possible fixes is http://www.adobe.com/supportservice/custsupport/SOLUTIONS/1a1fe.htm
This problem has been driving me nuts. I'll change the runaround
properties on my imported graphics and see if the problem goes away.

Subject: FrameMaker fix
Sorry to reopen this thread, but my e-mail server has been having
problems.
A day or two ago, Betty Devine asked if I would post the URL for the
fix. I
thought Penelope's response had been sent to the list, not to me
directly.
Here's the address:
Unfortunately, the suggestions offered on this page do not offer an easy
fix. For people who do not have time to reformat the images in the
document
they are working on, I suggest changing the magnification to 25%
immediately after opening a file. This way you can quickly load all of
the
images into memory and not worry about the scrolling problem. If you
load
the images one at a time as you page through the file, you'll return
time
and time again to the first page.
Cheers,
Robert
