We had the exact same project dilemma a few months ago. We wanted all
headers, regardless of the paper orientation, to be at the top of the page
(the 8 1/2" side). We could not see doing it any other way other than
placing the header in a frame box.
I agree that you will need to place a section break before and after your
landscape pages. Make sure that your you click on the Same as Previous
option to uncheck it, otherwise you end up with a header on the (11") side.
It took us a while to get this done, but it turned out to be a helluva
document.
Maybe someone else knows how to accomplish this more efficiently. We need
to tackle this project again next year.
