Please don't take this as flaming but FrontPage is probably one of the
worst
HTML editors I have ever used (my opinion) ;-).

 I agree. FP is easy to use...but it writes horrible code, crashes your
machine, is buggy, and often refuses to recognize your edited, cleaner
code. I think even the programers were not satisfied with it; thus,

Of course, it's been some time since I last used FrontPage and it may
well
have been updated and improved since then. The version I last used -
FrontPage97 - offered much and delivered little. It was quite obviously
a
product thrown together with some thought and little time. I've
experienced

 It's not better yet.  Perhaps their 2000 edition will be improved, but
it's not even close to HomeSite or Dreamweaver.

a few editors since then and none have come even close to providing the
front-end services of DreamWeaver...

 I use DreamWeaver at home, and have now convinced my supervisor to
convert since FP continually causes problem after problem here.

Download the evaluation copy from http://www.macromedia.com and have a
look
for yourself.

 It'll be worth your efforts to check it out. This is not a commercial
plug since I don't work for Macromedia.
