Documentation group seeks strong technical writer with project
management experience. Primary responsibilities include writing user
documentation and content-editing documentation written by other team
members. Secondary responsibilities include leading projects for the
documentation group, including attending project meetings, working with
leads from development, quality assurance, customer service, and
product/project management, creating schedules for the documentation
group, writing documentation plans for new projects, and filling in for
the team lead as needed.

Salary commensurate with experience. Competitive benefits package.

Required Skills:
* 3 to 5 years technical writing experience
* Experience leading documentation projects, excellent time management
and organizational skills, and excellent verbal and written
communications skills
* Ability to handle muliple tasks and projects as well as provide
leadership to the group, including mentoring junior writers
* Experience conforming to style guides and editorial reviews
* Proficiency with FrameMaker and Adobe Acrobat
* Intermediate HTML skills


Skills that are helpful, but not required:
* Experience working with graphics
* HTML-based Help development experience
* Advanced HTML skills
* Experience with MS Project
* Experience in any of the following: UNIX, CGI, PERL, ASP, Oracle
databases, C, and electronic commerce
* Experience working with translators
