Overbars

I've seen the asterisk more often than the overbar in identifying low active signals, e.g., *START. It's fast and easy to type, and the engineers enjoy talking about signals they can say: "That splat START signal is 20 milliseconds too late to do any good..."

At least that's my view of the world from a cloudy and windy but almost warm Salt Lake City on an early Sunday morning. Another deadline draweth nigh.
