What would anyone want to print out a file that was in ascii is the first
question. Changing something to ascii is usually done so that the file
can be then imported into another program to be worked on and/or
transported on the Net. That is not the purpose of saving in ascii. Also
when I write/create my articles, I deliberately simply do not use special
formating. If for instance, I want to put an emphasize on a phrase which
is a title, I use quotes in lieu of underline or a different font. Bottom
line is that you have to think ahead. Otherwise, at the tail end, you
will have chopped liver.
