Imagine you teach tech. writing.
You have to teach 1 of the following:
1. The principles of On Line Help or
2. The principles of programming.
Which would you choose and why?
If limited to just one, the on line help assistance would be most
beneficial.
Personal experience--didn't really know much about the Net, emailing,
web design, etc. until I just dived in. Everything you need is available
as long as you can access the tools and information, have a little
common sense, and enough communication skills to ask the write questions
to the right kind of people.
It's much more important to know about the process of finding
appropriate information than to know any one specific program.
