1. Plural of abbreviations ( and not plurals. It is a typo.
Unfortunately I pasted in the text)
2. I did check one style guide, they spelled it OS's.

I did not understand how it could be grammatically correct. I wanted to
find out what other style guides said and understand the logic behind
this.
