position:
Senior Technical Writer
We're looking for a Senior Technical Writer to join our Implementation
and Education Technologies Group. The Senior Technical Writer designs,
writes, indexes, edits, codes, debugs, and maintains electronic and
paper documentation. We want a self-starter who:
* has at least five years' experience documenting end-user software
products
* has solid project- or people-leadership experience
* effectively gathers product information from domain experts, design
documents, and prototypes
* organizes product information into user assistance tools that follow
the user's work processes
* writes effective task instructions and has strong editing,
proofreading, and indexing skills
* has solid experience with online Help, especially HTML Help and
related authoring tools
* works independently and sees projects through to completion
Experience in the manufacturing industry and with accounting is helpful.
