I'm having trouble with a specific sentence and could use
some help. My original sentence is:

"There are terms used in this reference guide requiring clarification
before reading further. The following terms are interchangeable:"

Should it be written as:
"A number of terms used in this reference guide require clarification
before you read further."

or:
"A number of terms used in this reference guide need to be clarified
before you read further."

or
Before reading further, a number of terms used in this reference guide
need to be clarified."

or
"Before reading further, a number of terms used in this reference guide
require clarification."

Thansk for the help, gang!
