TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Entering a competition is a great way to receive constructive feedback
on your work and to get a little recognition for a job well done.
This year, Region 6 of the Society for Technical Communication (STC) is
sponsoring the Heartlands Competition in technical publications, art,
and online. You do not have to be a member of STC to enter, and you
may enter work as an individual or on behalf of a group.
The deadline for entries is Friday, November 13, 1998. Additional
information and entry forms are available at
