2. Use Acrobat Exchange. Use the cut/paste function to copy out the
text and paste them into the Framemaker document. No graphic copying
capablities available.
Acrobat Exchange has a graphics-copying feature that works pretty well.
(Tools\Select Graphics or Ctrl+Shift+F5). You may notice a slight
degradation in sharpness, but that's lessened if you don't resize the
image in Frame.
I'm running Frame 5.5.2 in a Win NT environment. I recently completed a
manual which referenced screens created in an older version of our
software. I could not recreate the screens, so I copied them from the
PDF files in my document library and pasted them into Frame. They looked
fine, even when I converted them back to PDF.
I don't highly recommend this because of the quality, but if you've
exhausted other options, it works well enough.
