Subject:Reference letters--humor, I hope From:Douglas Max <dmax -at- BELLATLANTIC -dot- NET> Date:Fri, 4 Sep 1998 09:28:22 -0400
How about these sentences for when you need to write a letter of
reference for someone you can't really recommend...but whose feelings
you don't want to hurt:
"Waste no time interviewing this candidate."
"I can't recommend this candidate hightly enough."
These are some of my favorite amphibolies.
Cordially,
Doug Max
