If you are writing on a topic that interests me, and you've got a point
that interests me, I don't care how long it is. I'll read it.

On the other hand, like others, I delete by topic. I do delete 20 or 30
messages at a time. That's my risk and I'll take it, but please, make the
subject line tell me what's there. It's not a matter of snobbery, it's
just that QUALCOMM would like me to do more work than email.
