Just another instance of the sometimes annoying evolution of the language. Be
grateful you don't work for the military (I hope) where you are preparing
documentation on "equipments." AAAARGH!!!
That drove me nuts, and, when I tried to explain why that was wrong, people
just looked at me as though I were speaking a alien tongue. Perhaps I
was...to them.
