HERMES SoftLab is searching for a technical writer and a
senior technical writer. To apply for either position, you need to have
the following requirements, skills and qualities:
Technical writer
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in creating documentation
* Should have created at least one software manual from beginning
to end of a company's development process
* Should have created help files for a product
Skills
* Native English speaker
* Experience with one or more of the following tools:
* Framemaker + SGML
* Microsoft Word
* A help tool such as RoboHelp or HyperHelp
* Experience with UNIX and Windows NT
Qualities
* Desire to move to and work in Europe in an international
environment
* Flexible enough to withstand cultural and language differences
* Willingness to informally commit to 2+ years to the company
* Used to working in a team environment
* Good sense of humor
* Youthful spirit and attitude
Senior Technical Writer
Requirements
* 5 - 10 years of experience in creating documentation
* Should have completed as the lead writer at least one set or
library of manuals with a help system from beginning to end of a
company's development process
Skills
* Native English speaker
* Experience with one or more of the following tools:
* Framemaker + SGML
* Microsoft Word
* A help tool such as RoboHelp or HyperHelp
* Experience with UNIX and Windows NT
Qualities
* Desire to move to and work in Europe in an international
environment
