Well they finally got the MIL standard choosen for the project I am on; the
partnering company that is coming in to work on the Integrate Electronic
Tech Manuals (IETMs) with our group has arrived; and we are now hammering
all the necessary details out for format, style, etc. The only thing that is
settled for sure is that in about 10 days a few of us in our group are
getting trained to used the EMS-2 software for the IETM markup and that I am
lead on one of two manuals that will be delivered both on paper and
electronically.
The question I have is has anyone on the list used EMS-2 for the generation
of electronic manuals? If you have what is the learning curve? What did you
like about the program? What did you dislike? Are there any there any
problems that I need to be aware of?
