I'm IN Canada and having trouble finding work and I'm pretty sure it's not due to lack of qualifications. However, the catch is (and, yes, there's always a catch, isn't there) I live in Nova Scotia and am looking for telecommuting contracts. I'm starting to wonder about all this hoopla about the new age of telecommuting/teleworking. I get lots of feedback that my qualifications are of great interest, but they "gotta have someone on site for this particular situation".

So, if any of you know of any opportunities out there for telecommuters, I'd love to hear from you. At this point I'd even like to take on small writing jobs or peer edits and reviews, just to start building relationships and prove telecommuting does work.

My experience is in the software industry and I work in a Windows 95 environment. I'd gladly send out my resume to you or you can have a look at my web site (address below).
