Doug,

I just finished evaluated some screen capture tools. And we came up with
Capture Professional. It is made by CreativeSoftWorx. It is a great tool.
You can do mulitple screen shots and different shaped. It also allow you
to save in a lot of formats, including GIF and JPG.

You can download a fully functional demo at
http://www.creativesoftworx.com.

Good luck,

Subject: QUESTION: Screen Captures

Does anyone know of a screen capture application that saves PC screen
shots in gif or jpeg format at the time of screen capture?
Currently, we use the ALT PRINT SCRN sequence which saves the active
window as a bitmap, but a document with a lot of bitmaps in it can get
quite sizeable, especially in terms of downloading from the web.
Also, it is very time-consuming to convert 20 to 30+ screen shots in a
document from bitmap format to gif/jpeg.
(We use LViewPro to do the conversion.)
TIA,
Doug Andrews
