It depends on what the company and your customers expect. If your customers
are more comfortable with a group thing - get everybody trained all at once
in the shortest amount of time - with the benefit of socialization, then a
greater benefit rests with the live trainer. Also, the company may feel
that the socialization after the sale is beneficial to future business.

A CBT course would certainly present consistent training at a lower cost.
However, "live" training may be a big revenue generator for your company.

I would guess that the ideal situation would be to present live training
for the socialization and post-sale benefit plus the revenue generation and
add supplemental courses CBT-based.
