Technical writer -- two full-time, permanent positions available
Need additional members for team that develops and maintains technical
publications and web site for Arkansas Medicaid. Must be comfortable
developing prototypes and new communication media.
Required:
Four-year college degree or equivalent combination of training and
experience.
Two years of technical writing experience.
Strong written communication skills.
Ability to interact with EDS' customer, Arkansas Medicaid, to determine
document or presentation needs.
Ability to design, write, and edit technical documentation.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of coworkers and
customers through meetings and/or memoranda to determine documentation
needs.
Ability to interface with systems engineers and management in the
coordination of documentation updating and customer deliverables.
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to shift priority emphasis when scheduling changes occur.
Expertise in a variety of publishing software.
Desirable:
Knowledge of HTML and/or web site development.
Data processing technical background.
Health care, health insurance, or Medicaid background.
