Thanks to all who responded to my plea for help regarding the file
that wouldn't open. Unfortunately, we were not able to open the file
no matter what. We had already tried most of your suggestions and I
even cruised MicroSoft's Web site looking for clues. No luck. We did
have a backup copy--minus two days' worth of edits--and are in the
process of redoing everything. Better than losing it all, I guess.
We think the file must have corrupted itself somehow and are holding
our collective breaths that it doesn't happen again.
