1. You were given just slightly more for a promotion than for a standard
cost-of-living annual increase
2. You're not paid as well as developers who code

My personal philosophy on the whole thing, and this has been discussed to death
on here, is that you cannot compare your compensation package to either your
co-workers or the industry standard. Ultimately, you have to figure out what
you need to live on, what you think you're worth, and how much you like your
job. Then decide if you want to stay, ask for more money, or move on.
