OK, now I'm confused. None of the replies to John Posada's original
question I've seen so far have mentioned troff, nroff, or any of its
variants.
--------------------
Yes, well, I was going to get to that, but I wanted John P. to find the
threads in the archive. I just looked there, and the message I
mentioned writing wasn't there. (Probably I just wrote it in my
imagination.) Anyway, yes, I always used nroff, and yes, I'd recommend
taking a look at some existing man pages and going from there. John P.,
by looking at the contents of a man page file and then at the resulting
display, I'm sure you can figure out how it works.
Btw, a particularly helpful message in the archives is from Sally
Derrick, right there at Tivoli.
