TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Well, folks, it just demonstrates that our Public Relations arm is not
having the success we might like it to have. :-)
WE know that what Weber & Associates is doing is neither new, nor
exclusive, but the rest of the public apparently thinks otherwise. What's
worse is that this mistaken impression is perpetuated in the press. <sigh>
Maybe we should declare a "Take a Reporter to Lunch" day. I agree with
Jennifer Jelinek, it's nice to see poets who are finally getting paid for
what they write.
Sing on, electronic muse,
Bright silicon elf whose lilting whirr
Echoes; while cubicle-bound clay
Longs for freedom.
[Now you know why I'm a technical writer...and NOT a poet! :-)]
