In answer to a question that was asked, telecommuting would probably
not be an option for this position. We need someone to be able to
interact with the engineering team on a regular basis. This team would
actually like someone to be located in their area of the building.
There might be room to negotiate a few days working at home if you live
in the Dallas area, but long distance would be difficult if not impossible.
And because TI contract positions often extend long term, we want
someone who is living in the Dallas area or who would like to move here.
Dallas' Southern hospitality is hard to resist once you've experienced it!
So take a chance and send your letter and resume to the address at the
bottom of the post (or FAX them)!

As I said in the posting, the position is contract.

Before you read this post, may I say that TI offers exceptional
working conditions in a terrific team environment. Contracting
positions are often long term, however, so don't apply if you like
to change jobs often. I've been here 8 years and there are others
who have been here longer!

Please do not send your resumes to me, but to the addresses listed
at the bottom of the post.
