CORRECTION: Ketchup is nobody's trademark

The American Heritage dictionary says that the spelling "ketchup"
has been around since 1711. The Heinz bottle does NOT--
repeat NOT-- claim the word as a trademark. Somebody may
have been confused by the circle-U symbol that means the
stuff is kosher.

It may be true, however, that "no other ketchup tastes like Heinz."
