Subject:Re: PDFs--how big can you go? From:Bill Burns <BillDB -at- ILE -dot- COM> Date:Tue, 7 Oct 1997 15:00:23 -0600
I recently distilled a 66 MB PS file from FrameMaker (with hyperlinks).
The resulting file was 5 MB. The original files had cross references,
EPS graphics, indexing, and additional navigation links thrown in. The
optimized file turned out to be 2.7 MB.
