Title: Technical Writer

Description:
Responsible for the following but not limited to:
' Writing operation and maintenance manuals, technical publications, and
service bulletins.
' Gather technical information, prepare written text, and coordinate
layout and manual organization to department standards.
' Ability to research engineering information such as drawings, design
reports, specs etc.
' Interface with various personnel to gather information for projects.
Prepare updates to existing manuals.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have:
' College background, type a minimum of 40wpm, and is computer literate.
' Experience using desktop publishing software such as FrameMaker and/or
PageMaker (must have some experience with either).
Additional tools used are:
Laser scanners, digital cameras, CorelDraw, PhotoShop, Illustrator, etc.
Web design is a plus.
