entry level requirements

i'd rather see someone with a degree in "communications" whether that be
in the aesthetic artistic programming creative writing sense. it isn't
enough to know a product or what makes a thing go. you need to know how
to tell someone else that information. a degree in tech writing is a
good idea if the curriculum includes rhetoric and other persuasive forms
of writing. tech writers need a persuasive tone to get their users to
WANT to use the bloody information. if it don't come from within, the
user will do without.
