If you don't look for candidates with the best motivation and potential from
any academic background, you'll likely come up with a fair number of problem
employees. I have also seen nondegreed people function very capably. Over
the years, I have obsevered nothing to substantiate biases towards or away
from any particular major as a predictor of long-term success.
