Need help with Word 97 macros

Subject: Need help with Word 97 macros

Recently, our department switched from Word 6.0 to Word 97. We've
encountered a few glitches, but for the most part we have been able to
work around them.

The one problem we haven't been able to work around is the difference
in macros.

Specifically, our manuals have callouts consisting of a textbox and a
line. We would like to remove the line from the textbox, so we tried
to write a macro in Word 97 that would search a document for all
textboxes and remove the lines.

The macro works on the first textbox it encounters, but then it gets
stuck in the textbox and does not search the remainder of the
document. Since the commands are different on Word 97, we're having
trouble getting the macro out of the first textbox to the next
paragraph.

Does anyone have any pointers?

In addition, we are looking for a manual that could help us with any
future macro problems we might have. Can you suggest a Visual Basic
for Applications book?

Thank you for your help!
