How can they possibly drop it if the people who want them to drop it
keep bringing it up? ;-)

The word is "proactive," not "proreactive." Much easier to say, and some
people find it useful. :-)

Remember your audience. If you were a zoologist talking about lions,
would you say "and then the mommy lion and daddy lion had a baby?"
