Subject:ADMIN: No more on spelling From:"Eric J. Ray" <ejray -at- RAYCOMM -dot- COM> Date:Fri, 17 Oct 1997 08:12:00 -0600
That's enough of the spelling and spelling flame bait.
Pick a dictionary that's appropriate for your
readers, use alternative spellings that your readers
like and be done with it.
Do not post any more flames or arguments in favor of
or against particular spellings--it obviously depends completely
on your audience.
If there's a TECHNICAL COMMUNICATION ISSUE with
spelling that merits discussion, that's fine.
However, make the connection to technical communication
explicitly clear in the message.
