that would be nice, but most of the time people don't simply hit "reply
to" -- they change the subject -- and keep changing the subject. so even
trying to filter out subjects is impossible. case in point: Fun Pairs,
fun pairs, Re: Fun Pairs, Aluminium (was Re: Fun pairs), Re: [2] Fun
Pairs --- those broke off into or/nor, it's vs. its, lay vs. lie...

c'mon folks!
