TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
The WinHelp and Technical Writing searchable archives were temporarily
unavailable today due to incredible hardware and software problems.
Basically, the server had a meltdown. And believe me, it's been no fun to
fix it.
We are in the process of taking this opportunity to upgrade the server
hardware, which will make searches faster. There may be occasional problems
in the next few days as well, as we improve and test the system.
I apologize for any inconvenience and hope you continue to find the
searching service useful.
Best regards,
Michael Krigsman
