Well, this is fun! (I suppose this isn't "on-topic, tho'.)

I (along with everyone else) looked it up and got a bit of education.

I also looked up "hypotaxis", which means joining clauses in a
subordinate fashion with conjunctions, e.g., "Press Enter and then
review the screen". Parataxis (without conjunctions) is more like,
"Press Enter, review the screen".

At least that's the way I understand it. Where are those liberal arts
people now? We need an educated opinion! ;-)
