This is one of those Word features that almost noone knows about. On the left
bottom portion of the Print screen, there is a drop-down box. "Print what"
appears to the left of the box, and the default item is document. "Styles" is
one of the other options available. I think this will serve your purpose.

Is there an application or macro that can
analyze a Word document and
produce a listing of styles in use and the
attributes for those styles?
I write online help and other technical
documentation, and my life would
be much easier if I could generate a table of
styles in use and then
import that table into Access for analysis.
This would be particularly
useful for multi-file analysis.
