OK, this has never occurred on my pc before and I'm not sure what has
caused this or even if it is a problem.
If I select a group of text to delete which I wish to overwrite, I get a
prompt asking me if I want to overwrite the text instead of automatically
doing it. This doesn't happen all the time. I have a numbered list from 1 to
21 (using Word's automatic numbering feature). If I hi-light 1 through 7 I
can typeover without any problems. But if I include number 8 or higher, I
get the message prompt. Does anyone out there know why??? I do this
all the time and have never had this occur before. I have just had my
machine updated to give me access to our NT server, would this cause
any freaking problems in Word 7.0??
Please respond off-line. Thank you.
