Subject: JOB, So Cal: OO tools tech writer

My company, QAD (www.qad.com), needs a writer with experience in
object-oriented principles. The product information department has about
25 people.
The job description is below. Please reply to my manager, Lane Stalbird
(mailto:sls -at- qad -dot- com 805-566-5268), not me.
The Convergent Engineering that Lane mentions in the description is
David Taylor's solution to the software crisis. Go to www.engines.com to
find out more about him and Enterprise Engines.
The New Technology team has about 6 or 7 developers now (and one
writer). That number will increase some. They'll be developing the Java
tools to support QAD's new OO global supply chain product. QAD's current
product is MFG/PRO, manufacturing system software.
Those are the dry details. On a more human note, Lane's a terrific
person to work for, and the new technology project manager is totally
awesome, in all the good ways.
