I don't know how urgently your wife needs this job, but it seems as if
this firm may be trying to get "something for nothing"--I am a just a
*bit* sensitive about this issue. If at all possible, I would try and
negotiate first, but if they are unwilling, I'd run, fast, if I were
her.
How do they know this is a reasonable time frame? It could be
ridiculously short, even for a more experienced individual. Hope this
