A few weeks ago, I completed on-line help for a project that wasn't
supposed to have paper docs. Marketing (believe it or not) changed their
collective hive mind, and decided that I should make paper docs after
all.
I'm having trouble translating from the hypertext, non-linear viewpoint
to a narrative, linear viewpoint. In particular, transitioning from one
topic to the next and eliminating redundancy are bothering me.
Any advice? Should I just give up and write user docs from scratch?
